 25th November Squareclose Demmi's pups arrived. She was mated by the danish FTW Jobeshill Olof "Brimson". She got 7 bitches and one dog pup: Dash, Diva, Dolly, Dancer, Diddle, Dreamer, Didi and the dog Dane.

 Demmi is one of the nicest dogs we have ever owned. She joins us whenever we need her, this can be on pigeonshoots, ducks, you name it. She is perfectly steady and she can easily sit in a ditch for an hour when we wait for pigeons to come or at a shoot when pheasants come down, she never runs in. Also when we work our other dogs, she stays where we have put her and watches quietly. She is an easy bitch to keep and the friend of all of our dogs. She is a very pleasant gundog.  

Our choice to use "Brimson" was the result of good research. He is an exceptional good and handsome dog and  he comes from a very impressive family. His owner Carsten Nissen says the following about him: I am very pleased with Brimson, he has been so easy to train, always honest, a very good hunting dog and just nice to have around. So far he has won two open WT's and one open Field trial already. This year, his second in open, he has been awarded in every six working test he has run, so he is very consistent. 

Brimson is bred by Jane Fairclough, she owns his brother "Jobeshill Magnus". Laura Hill owns his sister: Jobeshill Lotta of Stauntonvale, she won several Working Tests and Fieldtrials and she has qualified for the 2011 Retriever Championship, which will be held at Nevill Holt Estate, Leicestershire, on the 5th, 6th and 7th December 2011. Also his brother "Jobeshill Valfrid of Avonford" owned by Chris Winfield has qualified by winning the Dukeries Gundog Club 2 day Open trial. His other brother, "Jobeshill Ragnar of Flypatch", is owned and handled by Alan Rees, he competed at the 2011 Gamefair for the Welsh team. 

Of course we have looked into the health results of these dogs which are very satisfying and both parents are tested as mentioned above.
